Meet The Yeasties: Kat

Kat rode her first wave in 2020, luckily it wasn’t covid. Although she’s a DFD, to some in Rockaway she’s considered a local. After falling off her skateboard at the tender age of 13, she was scared of boards in general - but that didn’t stop her from buying one when she turned 31.

The ocean is so big and she is so small- so if you see her out there just know she’s scared a shark might nibble her toes off. But if she can do it, so can you!

After all, the best surfer is the one having the most fun!
